Celiac Support Group-May Meeting

The next meeting of the Northern New Jersey Celiac Support Group will be on Thursday, May 22, from 7:00 ? 9:00 p.m. at the Dorothy B. Kraft Center, 15 Essex Road in Paramus, New Jersey. Annalise Roberts, author of Gluten- Free Baking Classics, will join us to share her expertise. Bergen county resident Roberts has been a featured guest at Macy's Cellar in Herald Square, and frequently gives demonstrations throughout the area at Chef Central, Kings Cooking Studios and Wegmans supermarkets.

We will have samples of their new granola bars from Bakery on Main. This company makes a delicious, crunchy granola in several flavors (a favorite at our house) and brought out their granola bar a short time ago. Namaste, makers of a wide variety of easy and delicious mixes, is sending a sampling of their line, including blondies and carrot cake. They are also offering a very generous 20% discount to our group ? more information at the meeting about how to get this. Namaste recently published a recipe book with lots of fun and tasty ideas for using their product line ? we will be selling these at the meeting too. Finally, we will have a sampling of unique and very flavorful chips from Food Should Taste Good.
